Event Submission Terms and Conditions

Downtown Olympia basic event listings are free of charge. All listings are at the sole discretion of the Olympia Downtown Alliance, submitting a listing does not guarantee inclusion. The Downtown Olympia Event Calendar is designed to list activities and events which are of interest to a wide audience from throughout the community, or those events which serve to promote downtown Olympia itself. This is interpreted to mean that an event should be of interest to a cross section of individuals which goes beyond the organization’s membership, and is likely to attract a reasonably impactful group of participants. Downtown Olympia Alliance does not list events outside of the greater downtown Olympia area.

Types of suitable events include:

    Major fund-raising events for non-profit organizations
    Significant entertainment events
    Significant cultural or community activities
    Events or activities that our audience has deemed important
    Events that drive commerce for downtown business

Events promoting hateful, racist, or bigoted activities are prohibited as well as events which affect the privacy of a person. Event listings are not a bulletin board to advertise products and services.

The Olympia Downtown Alliance reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, style, accuracy and content. Downtown Olympia Alliance reserves the right to remove without notice any action violating the regulations above.
