Arbutus Folk School has some safe, socially distanced open upcoming studio events, including Woodworking. There is space available in the October 15, 18 and 29 Woodshop Open Studio workshops.

This is time to work on self-directed projects. The instructor is available to help students with all aspects of your project, from the planning phase to completion. A limited supply of lumber is available for purchase or students may bring their own. Open shop participants may use Arbutus's stock of hand tools, which includes but is not limited to: work benches, chisels, hand planes, saws, sharpening stones, marking and measuring tools, and carving tools. Participants may also bring their own tools.
